One of my nemeses in life is the sink that makes you push the faucet down to get water. It’s really hard to wash both hands when one hand is busy holding down the faucet, that is, water only comes out when pressure is applied. Once you push down you have exactly enough time to wash one pinkie. In addition, it really bugs me when you have both a hot and cold water faucet you have to push down, because then you are really stuck. It's like playing that game at the fair when you have to hit the little monster with the club when his head pops out of a certain hole. You get so pissed off because you cant get enough water to wash off a smudge of mustard that you usually just keep hitting them as hard as you can -- like that's really going to make the water come out longer. I mean, seriously, how are you supposed to "really" wash good -- it's near impossible.
I understand the concept -- save water. But I think the average person ends up using more water in the long run because because of the repeated pushes and 9 out of 10 people I see leave more water on the counter than in the sink because of the difficulty of the task. On a regular faucet, you use what you need and shut it off. What? Is that to simple of a concept for this ever changing world?
And, whats up with the hand dryer? It's like the "push down" faucet's bastard cousin. 6.4 seconds of luke-warm air ain't drying my hands after the little fiasco I had with the faucets. Give me a paper towel any day.

Haven't you seen the cartoon regarding the hand drying machines?

Step 2: Hold hands under air vents
Step 3: Wring off excess water
Step 4: Wipe hands on pants
