I Am Confused
I took this picture of a Chinese restaurant here in town. When I first saw the "Buefet" neon sign my logic kicked in and I immediately thought to myself..."oh, they have a buffet". But, as I got to thinking I wondered why a Chinese restaurant would have a sign spelled this way? Is the language German, Spanish, African Click, Pig Latin? I had to find out so I searched. And, the answer....still not sure although I have narrowed it down to German or Spanish. Can anyone else chime in and let me know? This adds to the list of things that bother me like the Geese in Germany and Where in the World is Mike Wells? But, regardless of the outcome, there is still no logical explanation of why they spelled it this way....unless to spur some geeky loser blogger's out there to talk about it. Those people. That's right, I am an Anti-Beufetite.

Maybe Phoebe Buefet lives there.
I love foreigners signs. We used to have a chinese restaurant in the local mall that had a handmade poster outside with magazine cut-outs of their food & next to it in bold marker was "Eat Yourself Right". It was their for many years. Funny.
