Two status updates from persons on my list of Facebook friends in the last two weeks:
"Had a blast in the ER yesterday. Spent 8 wonderful hours. I know I will get laughed at, but I have/had a peri-rectal abcess that had to be lanced. Thank God I didn't need surgery. Bad thing is that I still can't sit down very well."
"Watching my house burn down". Pictures were an added bonus.
For real.
