A Mini Review

Okay, I have only had a few days to listen to U2's new CD but the verdict is already in. It's great for the most part but it doesn't live up to the previous albums. Don't get me wrong, I think the first 4 songs on the album are brilliant and there are others like Unknown Caller (cant find) and I'll Go Crazy If I Don't Go Crazy Tonight that I enjoy. But, I keep going back to the same songs and dismiss a few others. That's unusual for me. Musically, I guess it's just different. Lyrically, as always, it has some great content but also a lot of rhyming one liners (which doesn't suit this band). And his political beliefs were set aside (for the most part). So, I have to say it would be around number 5-6 on my all-time favorite U2 albums. But, I still give it an 8 out of 10 because the songs that are good are REALLY good.

Two of my favorites from the album:

No Line On The Horizon -- Live

Moment Of Surrender -- This is the only thing I could find so, no, I dont know this goof ball. Also, it's a long intro so stick with it.
