Music, Mandy and March Madness!

I took in the Ryan Adams and The Cardinals concert at The Saenger Theater last night. I have always been a fan, especially his earlier music. Plus, this was his second to last stop of touring and probably making music all together. However, I have to say that the concert was anything but pleasing. Sure he played a few songs really well but I think he literally said 20 words all night (and those were slurred). Almost zero interaction with the crowd, all of the songs were mostly from his last two albums only, the songs seemed to overflow into one another and the stage was so dark he may have not even been there but simply just had a CD playing. The entire concert was also only about 1 hour and 40 minutes and I missed March Madness games! I was also bummed that his newly-wedded wife, Mandy Moore, wasn't there. Everybody knows I have had "a thing" for Mandy since she was on an episode of Touched By An Angel in 1997. About the only thing I found extremely pleasing was the lady across the aisle sitting her Blackberry on her boobs all night, the bass guitarists 4-foot long tie and Ryan's skinny jeans/white high top shoe combo.

I am not sure which concert this guy was at but, if you care, here is a review of last nights performance.

Yep, Mandy married this. Life is cruel.

That's a shame that it how it went. I like Ryan Adams too, not enough though to see him in concert I'm afraid.

I have said it before and i will say it again.....He is a hack! I never understood the following of this guy. I have honestly tried on several occasions to give the guy the benefit of the doubt. I listened with an open mind, but it only led to the feeling you get when you eat one of those year old hot dogs from Circle K. Thank you Cardinals for finding a new line of work.

That picture must've been taken by a band mate. There wasn't that much light in the whole Saenger until they started breaking the stage down an hour and 15 minutes in.
For the first 30 minutes the BOG was trying to figure out where Ryan's microphone was since he was nowhere near the stand. Guess what....that's not Ryan.
Should've taken the 3D U2 glasses...maybe that would've helped.

It was a fact I left out because I was at first embarrassed that I thought Ryan was the Lead Guitarist. Heck, I could barely see my hand in front of my face! But, now everyone knows how dark it was so it could have been anyone's mistake! Right?
