Teen athlete's killing lamented in Ice Cube video
That's the headline of an article in the news today. I mean, didn't Ice Cube help start "Gangsta Rap"? Or was that Ice T. Ice T, Ice Cube...there has got to be some funny line here. Nothing. See accompanying video below.
I have admit, when I first saw the headline I thought it would be a "feel good story", which to a very petite point it is. But, in fact, it left me still scratching my flowing mane and me saying "What?" Is this supposed to be about saving the lives of inner city kids and helping them to be better people? Within the first minute there were more curse words than in most R-rated movies and explicit use of the "n" word. Okay, I understand what he is trying to say but, dude, clean it up. That solves nothing, teaches nothing. It only adds to the problem. I'm sorry. I just don't get it.
I am not one to judge and it was terrible for the young kid to have been murdered. But, as the parent of the murdered kid, how do you say this at the beginning of the video?
"Every time I start watching it, I start crying,"
See for yourself.........
Oh, I know, Ice T and Ice Cube now form the group "More Suga' Please".
