Random Thoughts

--I did a double-take the first time I saw the above picture. Thought the man had on a halter top for a second.
--Did you see the female Muslim sprinter from Bahrain run the 200 meters in the Olympics with the historic Muslim head dress? Pic here from a different event. Before you laugh, realize she looks absolutely "normal" to millions of people in this world.
--You don't see much of the great Christina Aguilera since she had her baby. That makes me very angry at that baby.
--Did you see this video of what happened during TS Fay? What about this one.
--Paid $3.40 for gas this morning. That's still too high.
--Cubs fan catches baseball in his beer cup and still drinks it. You kind of want to see that, don't ya?
--Found a websitethat will send you an email or text when a game involving your sport of choice is going down to the wire with a close score. It's pretty cool.
--My favorite protest sign posted yesterday from Denver (Democratic Convention).
--Did you know? Each political party gets $17 million from federal government for their respective conventions. It's from that "Check here if you, or your spouse if filing jointly, want $3 to go to this fund (see page 12)" on your income tax form. I've never checked that box.
--Putt Putt sounds like a beating but it's really pretty fun. Especially when you win.
--The most shocking moment from the Olympics that you probably missed along with a very funny line from Jim Lampley.
--One of my buddies (who is older than I am) told me that he just got his first tattoo. He jokingly said that it gave him "instant bad boy credibility." I laughed real hard.
--I wear older shoes on rainy days.
