Random Thoughts

--In the Olympics, why are all the country's names that appear on the jerseys written in English (even the countries that don't speak English)?
--This will only make sense if you were watching women's gymnastics at the Olympics at 9:02 last night. Germany's Oksana Chusovitina has got to be a guy.
--I found a new trick for us bloggers. If you want to insert a link into already written text and want the word "linkable" (like the name above) just highlight the word(s) you want and insert the link. It automatically formats for you...no cut and pasting.
--I've never understood the fascination with John Wayne as being the icon for a "tough guy." He was acting.
--Propel bottled water is good. But I drink water straight from the tap about 99% of the time.
--I watched, for some unknown reason, the documentary called Okie Noodling over the weekend. A bunch of rednecks swimming around in murky water trying to catch catfish with their bare hands. That's not on my list of "to dos" before I die.
--I've got Michael Phelps burnout. What about this point: What other Olympic sport gives you the opportunity to win that many medals? Jason Kidd, who is on the basketball team, can win just one.
--When you strip all the junk out of the big Sunday paper, it's not much larger than the weekday version
--Don't ask me why, but I stuck my hand in a moving washing machine last night. Note to self: Don't do that ever again.
--There has to be at least one person in America that thinks our Georgia was invaded by the Russians.
----Speaking of invading Russians, how is it possible to have never seen the movie Red Dawn? One of the best action films of the early 80's. Wolverines!!
--There is a study out that now says Octopuses don't just have 8 "tentacles" anymore...it's really six arms and two legs. And, why don't we have a cure for cancer?
--Someone has killed a bigfoot and someone has spotted the infamous Chupacabra all in the same week. Man, let me know when it's safe to go back into the woods. By the way that Chubacabra could pass as Mac.
--Is Deano or Gansta ever going to post anything again?

You're about to feel bad. Did you know that Oksana moved to Germany because there wasn't a bed in her home country for her little boy who had cancer? And in exchange for her competing for the German team her child was given medical treatments and is now in remission?

And Michael Phelps is a millionaire...think the Olympic experience means the same to both of them?

Besides...you're just mad she's a brunette.

I actually heard that story live but I still dont feel bad. Although I think its a great story. Hey, aren't you a brunette?

If its at MPL, get it. You will watch it over and over until Januaary and still only pay $.50 in late fees.
