Random Thoughts

-- Jackson high School, my Alma mater, won the 4A Baseball State Championship over the weekend. For pictures of my old playing days click here and here.
-- Remember Anissa Centers? She was the newscaster for WALA Channel 10 here in Mobile forever. Well, apparently she is now in Atlanta. While I was there last week I turned on the morning news and she was covering the recent tornado events. I did not know that.
-- Interesting demonstration of the 911 terrorist flight plans.
--Hey hockey guys, remember Brian Presken? The intern we simply called by his last name. Well, I was watching the news the other night and look-a-here.
--I am addicted to the A&E real-life television crime drama "The First 48".
--The Country Music Awards were last night. Didn't watch them but came across this today. What? Why?
--When you go to the doctor, is it a "written rule" that you have to sit in the waiting room at least two hours, then sit in the smaller room at least one hour before actually seeing the doctor?
--The below picture regarding the China earthquake was on the front of USA today last week. The mother of the deceased child is screaming, the guy over her right shoulder is balling crying but the dude over her left shoulder (camouflage hat) looks as if he is laughing. I hope this is just one of those cases of they snapped the picture at a weird time or something. Still I wouldn't have published this picture. Do you agree?

Carrot Top. What's worse? The hair? The makeup? The botched plastic surgery? The outfit? The weird muscles? Why he's still around?

Ew.

That 911 flight path is interesting. I was at work when that PA plane turned around above Cleveland. I was about 5 minutes from the airport & they closed EVERYTHING down within many miles of it. It was such a weird feeling.
