View From My Room....

if you care. Not too much to see but a few old buildings with plants on the roof and an alley way to an outdoor cafe. To the far left was a bell tower (not in view) that went off every 15 minutes. Every second night some guy had to sing opera at midnight. Although annoying because I was tired he was quite good.

My shower....dont drop the soap or you would have to get out to pick it up (and no pictures of that LaJeanna...sorry). Actually there was no soap but a soap dispenser instead. And a rag, huh....dont go all crazy now. The biggest thing I hate about the smaller independent European hotels are no AC and heater. Getting out of the shower in the morning is an absolute task....I cant go to sleep at night just thinking about it. It is freezing.

My room. Sorry but my room was so big (a joke of course) my camera couldn't fit it all in view and I even had the Hotel Ost "Schnitzel Palace Suite", 2nd floor. One blanket that was so short you had to curl up in the fetal position to stay warm and one pillow that you had to fold 5 times to even make a lump. Dont be fooled by this picture as the "thing" you think is an extra blanket on the other twin bed pushed against mine is an actual plastic sheet underneath that when used makes it two times colder. Although I did sneek out late one night and I "snatched" a small babies blanket that someone left in the "common ironing room". Pure life saver.
