Hometown News
As a kid, and mostly young boys, if you didn't get your picture in the paper for killing a rattlesnake, deer or other game at least once before the age of 10 then you were an outcast and could possibly be cast out of the certain clicks. It is like a right-of-passage that fathers teach their sons and so on. My old high school buddies are now submitting pictures of themselves and their kids with the kill. Of course, even if you were 14 months old the cut line in the paper had to have the child "assisting" in the kill and how they killed it. It just so happens that Memaw and her 7 and 2-year old great-grandchildren all held the hoe will striking the rattler. Well done, well done.

LMAO... I love this. My MIL is in town. She brought their local paper that is published just twice a week. OMG it cracks me up.
Its more like a local gossip rag IMO.
A snake = game??
I thought game was only visible on the b-ball court.
